The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2021 was released for the list of Top 10 Best Engineering Colleges to study. The list has ranks in various categories such as Engineering, Medical, Management, Colleges, Law, Architecture, etc.

The NIRF ranking is based on the parameters such as Teaching, Learning, Research, Professional Practice, Graduation Outcomes, Outreach and Perception.

The NIRF Ranking 2021 engineering colleges list has 8 IITs and 2 NITs in the list. Here is the list of Top 10 Best Engineering Colleges in India as follows,

#1 – Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras

IIT Madras is located in Chennai. The institute was founded in 1959 by the Government of India with assistance from the Government of West Germany.

#2 – Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi

IIT Delhi was established in the year 1961 at Hauz Khas, Delhi. It is one of the oldest Indian Institutes of Technology in India.

IIT Bombay was established in the year 1958 and located at Powai, Mumbai. It is the second oldest IIT of India. This is one of the oldest engineering institutes in India.
