Computer Science Engineering Subjects

Computer Science Engineering (CSE) is one of the most popular field of engineering which integrate the fields of computer engineering and computer science and focus on the basic elements of computer science and networking.

Computer Science Engineering deals with the design, maintenance, operation of computer software and hardware. It also deals with algorithms, computation, programming languages, program design, etc. The scope of computer science engineering in India and around the world is very huge for every aspect.

Skills Requires for Computer Science Engineering:

The following skill sets you have to require becoming a good computer science engineer:

  • Excellent knowledge
  • Good programming skills
  • Good thinking
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Data Structure and Algorithm skills
  • Ability to work under pressure

Computer Science Engineering Eligibility Criteria:

The basic eligibility criteria for pursuing Diploma in Computer Science Engineering is qualifying 10th examination to get an admission in First Year and 10+2 examination to get an admission in Direct Second Year, with good qualifying marks in English, Science and Mathematics.

The basic eligibility criteria for pursuing Degree in Computer Science Engineering or B.E. (Bachelor in Computer Science Engineering) is qualifying 10+2 or equivalent examination to get an admission in First Year and good qualifying, marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with minimum 60% of aggregate marks or Diploma to get an admission in Direct Second Year with minimum 60% of aggregate marks.

A Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) is conducted by Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT). The entrance in IIT can be only secure by clearing JEE examination.

The basic eligibility criteria for pursuing M.E. (Masters in Computer Science Engineering) after passing the graduation/ degree in Computer Science Engineering.

Scope of Computer Science Engineering:

Computer Science engineering deals with the aspects like design, implementation, management of information system, etc. There are lots of jobs opportunities are available for computer science engineers in the areas and projects like IT companies, database management system, design and development organizations, etc.

Computer Science engineers also have huge opportunities in private sector such as in multi-national companies and in public sector such as government organizations like computer, telecommunications, and government organization with database management.

Computer Science engineers also have wide scope in its sub-disciples such as web design, programming, software, hardware, data analytics, data storage, etc.
