Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is a national level entrance exam conducted by NTA for admission to various engineering colleges for B.E, B.Tech, B.Plan and B.Arch programs every year in India. JEE Main will be conducted two times in a year and it will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). The number of applicants taking the JEE Main has varied over the years. JEE Main has two papers, Paper-1 and Paper-2. The top students in the JEE Main, qualify for the JEE Advanced examination for admissions of Indian Institute of Technology (IITs).

1. Candidates who have passed 10+2 exam with Physics, Chemistry/Biology and Mathematics are eligible.
2. Candidates who have cleared their class 12th exams in 2018, 2019 are eligible.
3. Candidates who are appearing for class 12th board exams in 2020 are also eligible to for JEE Main.
4. There is no age limit for the candidate.
JEE Main 2020 for January session has concluded on January 9. The official JEE answer key will be released in the 3rd week of January, 2020. The January session result of JEE Main 2020 will be declared on 31st January 2020.

JEE Main 2020 Application Form for January session was released on the official website and the last date for the application was 30th September 2019. JEE Main 2020 Application Form for April session will be starts from 7th February 2020 on the official website.

The questions for JEE Main examination are from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The syllabus includes,
Physics: General Topics, Physics and Measurement, Kinematics, Laws of Motion, Thermal Physics, Mechanics, Optics and Modern Physics, Electricity and Magnetism, Work, Energy and Power, Properties of Solid and Liquids, Thermodynamics, Rotational Motion, Gravitation, Electromagnetic Wave.
Chemistry: Some Basic Concepts in Chemistry, States of Matter, Chemical Thermodynamics, Chemical Bonding and Molecular Structure, Atomic Structure, Some Basic Principles of Organic Chemistry, Hydrocarbons, Polymers, Biomolecules, Principles Related to Practical Chemistry.
Mathematics: Algebra, Trigonometry, Differential Calculus, Differential equations, Integral Calculus, Analytical Geometry and Vectors, Statistics and probability, Mathematical Reasoning, Three-dimensional Geometry, Coordinate Geometry, Limits Continuity and Differentiability, Mathematical Induction, Complex Numbers and Quadratic Equations.
JEE Main Answer Key 2020 will be release soon on the official website of JEE Main. Candidates can download the question papers and answer keys for different slots from the official website using their login credentials.
NTA will release two types of Answer Key, Provisional JEE Main Answer Key and Final JEE Main Answer Key. Candidates can also challenge JEE Main Answer Key 2020 with a fee of Rs. 1000/- The final score in the result will be show on the basis of final JEE Main Answer Key. No candidate will be able to challenge for the answer key after the release of the final JEE Main Answer Key.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be announcing the JEE Main result 2020 January session on 31st January 2020 and for April session on 30th April 2020. Candidates need to login to the JEE Main result portal with their application number and date of birth on the official website of JEE Main. Candidates can also download JEE Main scorecard after checking their result. The candidates who top in the JEE Main examination can be qualifying for the JEE Advanced examination.
